Looking to modernize your kitchen on a budget? I’ve come up with seven easy, budget-friendly steps to make any kitchen look more expensive than it really is.
1. Clean off your fridge. Don’t block me, moms! There are countless creative ways to display your kids’ work, but removing it from the fridge will make your fridge look more high end.
2. Upgrade your faucet. This one is one of the cheapest I could find, and it’s been life changing. It even has a spout for reverse osmosis water!
3. Switch to a modern soap dispenser and trash can. If you go cheap, it will be obvious. These are items every guest will likely see AND use. So make a statement with them!

4. Brighten up your space with lighting underneath your cabinets. Don’t forget to light a candle! I like these lights on Amazon (click here for link).
5. Hide the clutter with items you already have (or should have)— like this knife set! Excuse me while I order this for myself...
6. Switch out your rug. Ditch the graphics and quotes. Go with a simple, modern look. I love mine, because it’s crazy soft and doesn’t distract from my kitchen!

7. Use peel and stick vinyl to turn your stainless steel appliances into white and gold. Check out my tutorial below (and visit my TikTok for more tutorials - like how to do your fridge!):
*Bonus tip: add some plants (real or fake) to make your space more inviting!
These easy switches can not only make your kitchen more enjoyable for you and your family, but kitchens that look more expensive can raise the value of a home on the market - which can actually save you money!
