Questions You Should Ask Your Significant Other BEFORE Getting Married

These are some SUPER important questions to ask your significant other that could be dealbreakers!

1. How many alarms do you set in the morning?

It NEEDS to be close - within one alarm! If you only need two alarms to wake up, imagine how annoying the 5th, 6th and 7th alarm your significant other is sleeping through will be!

2. What temperature do you set the thermostat on?

You do not want to be in a temperature war for the rest of your life! If you are a hot body and need the AC set to 68 degrees at night.. do you really want to sleep next to someone who sets it at 75 degrees?

3. What is your mother like?

Keep in mind, you’re getting married to their family too! While this doesn’t need to be a dealbreaker, it definitely could make your life extremely difficult in the future.

4. Do you drive at or under the speed limit?

Personally, this is a dealbreaker for me. I cannot stand people who drive under the speed limit and it gives me tons of anxiety.

5. Do you finish projects?

One of the two of you needs to be a project finisher. The relationship WILL NOT work if you are both starters and quitters! I am definitely a starter and quitter and luckily have my husband Matt to wrap up projects for me!
