An Honest Review of the Picnic Table That Folds Into a Bench (Best Choice Products)
I recently purchased this table bench combo from Amazon. I paid full-price and I’m not affiliated with the brand Best Choice Products. I’m an Amazon affiliate, but this is truly an unbiased review.
Let’s take a look at my experience with this Amazon product.
Was it easy to build?
I had my husband build it for me— I’ll be honest. However, he’s very honest about project difficulty and said it was easy, only had about 10 pieces, and he didn’t even need the instructions. Personally, I would’ve used the instructions… but that’s a man for ya.
How does it open?
Start with the bench.
3. Fold down the arms.
2. Lift up on the seat of the bench. Keep your foot on the base of the bench.
4. Enjoy your table!
Is it sturdy?
Definitely check out the Amazon listing for the weight limitations. I weight 130 pounds. I stood on top with no issues, but I could tell it was nearing max capacity on the top. My husband and I shared a bench with no problems, either.
Again, weather will wear down the wood. Don’t forget to order this to protect it!
Is it worth the price?
As of right now, the price of this table is cheaper than a single picnic table at Lowe’s. Granted, it’s smaller and won’t hold as much weight. However, it’s an amazing conversation piece, space saver, and multi-purpose piece of outdoor furniture that could save you money in more ways than one.
Is it high quality?
To survive the weather and sun, I’d recommend ordering a can of this sealant. The wood is not pre-treated. Also, be careful to fully lift up the bench seat when turning it into a table. I didn’t— and it chipped a foot. Not a big deal. Just something to be mindful of.
What about that umbrella hole?
